“Right Here, Right Now”: Ruinart and Jeppe Hein swing by Venice

As part of the Venice Biennale, the installation “Right Here, Right Now” imagined by Jeppe Hein for Ruinart and inaugurated at the Palais de Tokyo, made a guest appearance at Palazzo Rocca. As a tribute to the heritage of the House, the Danish artist guided the guests through an immersive dinner-performance. From cocktails in the garden to the table set by chef Eugenio Boer, everything was designed to convey the sensory experience of Ruinart’s expertise. Throughout the evening, guests were able to wander among interactive installations, appealing to sight, taste, hearing, smell and touch. At the heart of the work, the four elements – earth, water, air and fire – essential to the elaboration of champagne, transported the visitors into the world of viticulture. In the presence of Fréderic Dufour, Jeppe Hein transmitted to the bubble enthusiasts, the art of connecting people, between them, to nature, but also with themselves. A look back at a sparkling evening…
