Sarah Andelman and Koto Bolofo put their spin on Artcurial’s Monte Carlo auction sales

Collectors around the world have already booked their tickets. From July 17 to 20, they all will head to Monte-Carlo for Artcurial’s prestigious summer auction sales. Once again this year, the Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées auction house put forward some of the most beautiful pieces from its Watches, Jewelry and Hermès Vintage departments, as well as the “Stylomania” auction dedicated to collector pens – which will be part of the Monte Carlo sale for the first time in history. Just like Pierre Hardy last year, this time around Artcurial invited Sarah Andelman to curate the sales’ editorial selection. To help her with this project, she called on photographer Koto Bolofo to photograph the most exquisite pieces with his own creative spin. Together, they produced a series of timeless images creating a bold mix between the objects and fruits & vegetables. Among Andelman’s selected treasures, the stand-outs are many : just like a Harry Winston necklace adorned with diamonds and emeralds (estimated at 800 000 – 1 000 000 euros) or a Piaget yellow gold watch – one of Sarah Andelman’s favorites. Before the collections head over the the South of France, the creative duo presented their curation in Paris to Artcurial regulars, in presence of President François Tajan and the houses Department Heads.
