Sonos Studio x Blue Note Listening Night

Last Thursday evening, Sonos Studio and Blue Note reinterpreted the famous Parisian jazz scene at’No address’, a secret breeding ground for ultra-luxury lofts confined to the Hôtel de Pourtalès. Somewhere towards the Madeleine, between Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s and Prince’s pieds-à-terres, Kanye West’s was transformed into a studio with a terrace for a bluffing evening of listening.

Invited to host the first part of this happening like no other: the truculent host of Radio Nova Aline Afanoukoé received Robert Glasper and Aufgang for an exchange about their respective projects with the illustrious label. A collaboration with Theo Parrish for one, remixes for the other.

Theo Parrish, pope of the House music made in Detroit and mixer of influences in front of the eternal then busied himself to the turntables of the Sonos Studio in front of the assembly of musicians, producers and journalists invited. A masterly jazz tribute special for an audience conquered in advance, invited in parallel to discover a selection of album covers reviewed by Parisian artists Sanghon Kim, Check Morris, Laurent Fétis & Sarah Martinon. Finally, on the first floor, the party was quietly lived in the listening room, well nestled in the Scandinavian bills. In all simplicity.

An experience conceived and produced by the agency We Love Art for the Blue Note Festival.
