Spending the day with Team Hyères and the photography competition’s finalists

This was an other day spent under the sun for Jean-Pierre Blanc’s guests. While the 33rd edition of the Hyères Festival is in full swing, it is in the Château du Galoupet’s gardens, a vineyard of nearly 165 hectares, that the members of the jury joined for a country lunch. Sunglasses were a must, as was the “official jersey” of the Festival stamped “Hyères 33” and proudly worn by its founder as well as some of the guests such as Audrey Marnay or jewelry designer Saskia Diez. Team Hyères also welcomed this year’s photography talents in the running for the Grand Prize and the American Vintage Award presented on Sunday. It was the perfect opportunity to discover their work as part of their group exhibition on view throughout the Festival. Luis Alberto Rodriguez (who was presented the Audience Award as well as the American Vintage Award last year) served as the the perfect mentor for the young talents.
