Spring of September 2011: new energies
“Another world” is now within everyone’s reach; you just have to go to Toulouse to appreciate the first impulses. With performances, concerts and exhibitions, the whole city celebrates a new artistic and philosophical vision of the world. Entrusted to the very cerebral exhibition curator Anne Pontégnie, this 21st edition of the “Spring of September” takes us to the gutter because it draws from our original energies, from our most human and deepest impulses. Gestures, traces, incantations, processions, rites are part of this “Other World” that spreads through about thirty places in Toulouse. Musée des Abattoirs, Espace EDF, Chapelle des Carmélites, Musée des Augustins… we rediscover a city as much turned towards its roots as projected into the future.
