The 26th edition of MiART opens in Milan
Art is ready for its comeback. The 26th edition of MiART-Milan’s international modern and contemporary art fair opens in Milan from 1 to 3 April 2022. The fair is divided in three different parts: Established, Decades and Emergent. “Established” is the main section of MiART which will host galleries who present contemporary art in its strictest interpretation as well as galleries presenting works produced before the year 2000, in a selection ranging from the masters of modern art to the most recent new creations. “Decades” explores the history of the 20th century, in a succession of projects dating from the 1910s to the 2010s. And “Emergent” is a section for galleries whose programming focuses on the artists latest generations. Inside the Fair there is the VIP Lounge Ruinart, where is exhibited a limited edition of magnum in second skin designed by the italian artist Gioele Amaro. At the opening event of MiART were present Beppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture of Milan, Giulia Valentina, Bea Spediacci, Arthur Arbesser and Angelo Tropea among others.
