Paris Fashion Week is not only an opportunity to promote the French fashion industry, it is also a platform for international designers to get noticed. Hence the increasing number of events organized during this crucial week for fashion. Events like “Modern Merino,” an installation presented by the Australian Fashion Council in association with The Woolmark Company at the Australian Embassy in Paris. The objective? To promote Australian fashion abroad through an installation by The Community featuring the creations of designers Albus Lumen, Dion Lee, Ex Infinitas, Nagnata, Helen Kaminski, Jacinta James, and Blair Archibald. Guests, designers and journalists were welcomed by His Excellency the Australian Ambassador to France Brendan Berne and representatives of the Australian Fashion Council, as well as Vogue Australia editor Edwina McCann.
