The Bugada & Cargnel gallery welcomes Théo Mercier’s “Zero Panorama”

Taking on the role of the explorer-philosopher, Théo Mercier delivers with “Panorama Zero” his first solo exhibition at the gallery Bugada & Cargnel, exhibition space created fifteen years ago by Claudia Cargnel and Frédéric Bugada and which now represents the artist. Many guests and friends came to discover the sculptures and photographs installed in a space-time questioning the factory of History and the notion of obsolescence. His original works, sculptures or objects mixing ancient amphoras, cannonballs and tires float in a fragile balance, as if to describe the instability of our lives. Something to give a friendly public such as musician Rebeka Warrior (Sexy Sushi) with whom he collaborates on stage productions something to think about, and to attract the expert eye of great collectors such as Denise Lévy, or even Colette Barbier, director of the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard. A heterogeneous audience that met, mixed and wondered, just like the artist, about these “time dismantling machines”.
