The Paul Bert Serpette Market hosts the first Krug Festival

Marché Paul Bert Serpette

For the first time in France, Krug opened the doors of its Krug Festival this weekend. Located in the intimate and inspired setting of the Paul Bert Serpette Market, in the heart of the Saint-Ouen flea market, the festival, initiated by Olivier Krug, offered lovers of Champagne, good food and music the opportunity to live an experience where these three elements blend together with finesse. Each of the ephemeral places imagined by Krug (and decorated by the expert in decorative arts Gilbert Kann) honoured a particular vintage in a refined atmosphere accentuated by the most beautiful antiques. Among the talents KRUG asked to enrich the tasting of its Champagnes are Chassol, an inspired composer who poetically accompanied “La Table Krug”, a lunch devoted to the art of blending and concocted by chef Adrien Ferrand. In the evening, an exceptional dinner awaited the guests who sat down at the setting sun. While Alexander Eghikian delighted their ears at the piano, conductor Chloe Charles did the same for their taste buds. Tailor-made culinary and musical combinations.
