The “Wasteland” Vernissage

Under the direction of Shamim M. Momin, the collective LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) presents at the Mona Bismarck American Center its exhibition”Wasteland: New Art from Los Angeles”. The company is new here because the exhibition also extends within the gallery Thaddaeus Ropac in Pantin. The works respond on both sides to their exhibition space and offer a double view of the artists’ work. T.S.’s poem. Eliot’The Waste Land’ provides the thematic thread between artists: encounters, poetry of despair, precariousness of morality and the uncertainty of an inevitable future. The artists of Wasteland open their universe to you until July 17.
