Urban Art Fair artists transform the Renaissance Hotel’s parking lot

Often underestimated, street art has found in Urban Art Fair the largest international platform that not only radiates its artistic legitimacy but also its diversity. For the third edition of the Parisian fair, whose New York counterpart (at Spring Studios) is also a resounding success, artists, gallery owners and amateurs met at Carreau du Temple for three days. With some thirty galleries from eight different countries represented, this new edition of the fair focused on the following theme: “Why live in the city?” While once again the success was there, it was in the parking lot of Renaissance Hotel République that the organizers of the fair invited journalists, artists and gallery owners to an evening resembling a true happening. For the occasion, the artist Astro signed a mural while the place was transformed by the exhibition of works of all kinds.
