Opening Bianco Italia

Galerie Tornabuoni

The Tornabuoni Gallery is presenting its new exhibition “Bianco Italia” until 20 July, featuring a selection of exclusively white works.
Through about sixty pieces worked on different materials such as cotton, neon, ice or salt, “Bianco Italia” invites us to experiment the “non-colour”.

Born in Italy at the end of the 1950s, the white monochrome has conditioned the work of a whole generation of transalpine avant-garde artists, active and influential throughout the world. An experience that has established itself as a fundamental language in 20th century art history, and of which an excerpt is to be discovered today at the Tornabuoni Gallery.
