Opening Kolaj Istanbul
After Berlin, it is in Istanbul that the Gaité lyrique attacks. Since yesterday and until September 18, the latter revisits “Crossing the Bridge”. “Kolaj Istanbul” recreates, in all spaces, the festive and cosmopolitan atmosphere that reigns in the city, halfway between East and West. The programme includes performances by choreographer Filiz Sizanli, transgender artist Esmeray, sound archaeologist Murat Meriç and filmmaker Canan. A good way to explore Istanbul’s contemporary art scene over a glass of raki and a selection of mezzes!
