Vernissage Dennis Hopper
To celebrate the first anniversary of its Art District gallery, the Royal Monceau – Raffles invites us to discover the photographic work of Dennis Hopper. Through about thirty photos with a pure and direct treatise, we discover a decade of pop art spent alongside major artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, or Ed Ruscha. The Easy Rider director also unveils some clichés of other great names in American cinema, such as Paul Newman or Jane Fonda. A beautiful birthday present, greeted last night by a handful of collectors and the ambassador of the United States, accompanied by his wife. More chic than pop.
