Vogue UK celebrates its centenary with an anthology

Dressing is a way of life, as Yves Saint Laurent, the late Yves Saint Laurent, used to say. More than a matter of clothing, fashion is a language in which British Vogue has become the linguist-inventor through its monthly publications. On the occasion of its centenary, the British magazine Genesis publishes “Vogue: Voice of a century”, an anthology limited to 1916 copies of the magazine’s history, with illustrations, photos and exclusive interviews. Alexandra Shulman, editor-in-chief of the magazine since 1992, welcomed her guests to Paris for the book’s launch party, including Maria Grazia Chiuri, Artistic director of Dior, William Klein and Peter Rand, prominent photographers of the 1950s and 1960s who actively participated in the legendary British Vogue, as well as top Cindy Bruna and creator Bruno Frisoni.
