We Dream Under The Same Sky is somewhere a truth, the starting point for a reflection on oneself and others. After all, we all dream under the same sky, whether we are a Parisian aristocrat, a young middle-class worker, or a refugee. Through the universal channel of art, the exhibition organized at the Palais de Tokyo from 16 to 21 September aims to raise public awareness of the situation and rights of refugees. Organized successively in two places, the Palais de Tokyo then the Azzedine Alaïa Gallery, We Dream Under the Same Sky is also an auction. Twenty-six works, donations from international artists, will be sold thanks to Christie’s under the hammer of its president François Ricqlès. Open to all, the inauguration of the exhibition brought together anonymous and specialists around the WE DREAM team, like the artist Adel Abdessemed, represented in the exhibition. The funds raised following the sale will benefit five associations: Migreurop, Anafé, La Cimade, Centre Primo Levi and Thot.
