Titled ‘Bravery’, this collection is an ode to rebirth, courage and determination. The same determination that motivated Louis Vuitton, about two hundred years ago, to leave the Jura where he was born and follow his ambitions. Creative director Francesca Amfitheatrof wanted to pay tribute to the founding elements of the French House. She created the Star du Nord necklace as the collection’s main piece (it was worn by Alicia Vikander on the advertising campaign). The collection also features the emblems of Louis Vuitton: the stud, the rope, the checkerboard, and of course the monogram. Plus, the colorful stones were selected as a nod to the Mr. Louis Vuitton’s love of nature. Both precious and poetic, this collection is the direct result of a beautiful French heritage.
