Belle Plage Hotel x Raphael Navot: Golden Palm

We all have nostalgia for the vintage 1930s to 1950s French Riviera, chic as can be, with its nonchalant elegance. Unfortunately, the 70s and their not always happy constructive frenzy has cast a dark veil on some waterfronts, including Cannes. Certainly, some local gems, such as the Martinez, had been preserved, but the city still lacked a smaller-scale neo-vintage address, one that would keep up with the codes of our time. Masterfully taking over an old apartment building from the 1930s, the Clé Groupe (Hotel Bachaumont and Arts et Métiers) has filled this gap with a building with a Californian vibe decorated by the talented Raphael Navot. 50 rooms, a roof top, a spa and a beach in the process of being completed may well herald the festival’s future prize in the hearts of festival-goers…
