Who has never been amazed by the splendor of motorboats from the Sixties? Brands like Riva, Boesch, or Chris Craft immediately come to mind. Unfortunately, these boats are quite difficult to maneuver. With no or hardly any power steering, and as reliable as these kinds of boats can be, vintage yachting is in reality way less glamour than it can appear to be on social media. Smelling the opportunity, the Milan-based design studio BorromeodeSilva teamed up with the UK based manufacturer Vita Yachts to create a neo-retro version of Italian yachting. In this matter, they weren’t the first to do so. But their boat has a significant attribute: it is entirely electric! This means it is also quiet, powerful, and above all reliable. With batteries up to 400ch power, this Vita boat is quite simply the coolest boat on the block. Shiny, chic, and ethically-made (as well as fully chargeable in only one night), the BorromeodeSilva x Vita boat embodies the ultimate day-boat.
