In 2021, a new Octo collection was born: Roma naturalia. It was designed to merge natural stones, such as onyx and malachite, with fine watchmaking. This year, the Manufacture is pushing the limits a step further by inviting the art of Wang Yan Cheng into the heart of the dial. Highlighted through a skeletonized back, the works are part of an extremely limited collection of 8 pieces in this 44MM black titanium case. These mechanical works contain the miniaturization of 8 paintings that emerge from a unique process, during which the artist covers his canvases with successive layers of color, in a movement he refers to as “the mastered unexpected.”
