What is the connection between London-based LOUTRE and Cape Town-based commonPROPAGANDA? The desire to serve a local Cape Town community that is still all too often left out. To this end, LOUTRE decided that this collection would not only be shot with members of the community, but that the locals would also receive the proceeds from the sale. As for the collection, it mixes Loutre’s Core and Rework lines. Patchwork waistcoats, technical shorts and jackets made from tweed or discarded motocross uniforms, all give the collection a hyper contemporary feel. These items are complemented by a range of corduroy trousers and skateboard-inspired cargo trousers. In short, it’s a collaboration just like the ones we love here!
