Mercedes G650 X Travis Scott: heavy stuff!

On the scale of coolness, it’s hard to top one of the best rappers of all time in one of the craziest cars in history. That’s precisely what Travis Scott’s Instagram account suggests in front of his latest acquisition. For this Mercedes, here marketed under the ultra-luxury Maybach label, limited to 50 units, powered by a monumental 12-cylinder, hand-made in the most remote Austrian regions, is the “civilian” version of a vehicle intended for military use, originally designed in the 1970s for the Shah of Iran! It’s hard to make it more exclusive as a pedigree. Colossal, with a bewitching sound and questionable comfort, its bodywork called “pramlet” (from the famous prams) was reserved for crowned heads and heads of state. Quite a symbol.
