Mini Moke V8 X Ludovic Lazareth : a new kind of mutant

Nothing could ever stop Ludovic Lazareth. After creating a flying motorbike or a three-wheel TMax, the incredible French engine tuning expert decided to pimp one of the most famous beach cars in history: the Mini Moke. An absolute favorite of Saint-Tropez residents, this car was originally destined to military use but quickly operated an unexpected career change in the late 60s as a convertible made for the beach. Alas, the vehicle, which was mounted on a Mini frame, quickly run out of breath. In order to bring back the pleasure of driving into this already aesthetically-pleasing car, Ludovic Lazareth went looking for a powerful engine that could do just that. The Maserati Granturismo V8 4,7l (440 hp) is one of the finest engines on the market. But is usually only fits the frame of a 5-meter-long car when coupled with its automatic shift. Knowing that the Mini Moke is only 3 meters long, it may seem like an impossible task. But it did happen: the Mini Moke you see here has been equipped with a V8 Maserati engine. While only one unique model was produced to date, this car has definitely become one of the craziest beach cars in history. So now there’s only one thing to do: fill in the order book!
