Summer may seem a long way off, still Thierry Colson’s Morocco-inspired collections are true rays of sunshine. But not this harsh sunbeam you get at zenith, rather the heartwarming end-of-the-day sun that tries to keep the night away. Subtle and flamboyant, his contrasted sense of style mixes floral prints with pleats, regular stripes and loose lengths. Always inspired by travel, the collection, both simple and chic, is relevant to today. So much so it becomes fairly addictive quite easily. A former collaborator of Hermès and Jil Sander, Thierry Colson certainly took his cues from the Houses’ legendary rigor.
