Mosaert X Coralie Barbier: And so we dress

You might already know it, but it’s always fun to mention: While Mosaert means Stromae (the famous singer and founder of his almost eponymous label) the artist now share the spotlight with his wife and collaborator Coralie Barbier. Stromae’s own personal style was a standout in the last few years, and their neo-sportswear brand has been influential since the launch of their first ready-to-wear collection. Stromae and Coralie like to work on the tracksuit esthetic to incorporate in their everyday designs. Their new capsule collection is unisex and streetwear-inspired with a touch of couture. This collection show their desire to go by their own rhythm and stand apart from the rules of the industry. In fact, their brand feels more like an artist collective that produces clothes as well as videoclips and music. The already iconic Billie Eilish called them in to direct her video for ‘Hostage’, which remains one of her biggest hits. The duo also collaborated with Orelsan on the video for ‘La Pluie’. www.mosaert.com
