Rolls Royce Phantom x Hermès : Emperor of Japan

You could say Yusaku Maezawa is the new emperor of Japan. A billionaire entrepreneur, he is known for collecting both antique pottery and supercars – collections that are in fact quite vertiginous. One of Hermès Horizon’s best clients (the brand’s custom and special orders department), Maezawa has entrusted them with a number of automotive and aeronautical projects. This time around, he wanted Hermès Horizon to customize his new Rolls-Royce, all the while paying tribute to the 16th century Oribe pottery close to his heart. For this, Hermès created a dedicated color, a green taupe. Maezawa liked it so much that he decided to line the interior of his plane with it. Hazelwood was especially decorated with traditional designs, and even applied to the inside of the champagne cooler. As for the rest, absolutely every surface was lined with Hermès fabrics and leather for the pleasure of the aesthete.
