From a simple barn, the architect Sean Godsell designed this incredible house on the side of a hill. In the Melbourne countryside, an hour drive away from the city, this small house feels like an observation post fitted to enjoy the surrounded landscape. Made of raw concrete, glass and steel, the structure of the house allows total transparency and gives room to endless space. Nothing is unnecessary here. With this house, Godsell invites us to return to a form of asceticism, a way to take a step back, meditate, and enjoy the moment.
