Yes! The 500 km/h mark was just passed by a car! Behind this project, Stephan Winkelmann and his unbreakable will to surpass the limits of Bugatti cars. His goal: to transform the brand into the most exclusive in the world. A unique prototype to this day, the Bugatti Bolide is similar to the sports cars taking part in endurance races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Made of titanium, carbon and magnesium, and partly 3D-printed, the vehicle is a light as a city car. The W16 quadriturbo engine develops 1850c and requires the same octane rate as a plane. It allows the Bolide to reach full speed in only 20 seconds. Why is it important? Because it drives progress forward, and because all new improvements developed for high performance cars will one day be available for your own!
