A | X Armani Exchange celebrates 30 years with NTS party at Petit Palace
To celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, A | X Armani Exchange is strengthening its ties to music. Founded in 1991, the brand was born at the dawn of a decade marked by its bold, experimental music. In honor of this new milestone, A | X Armani Exchange launched 91 FORWARD, a global campaign in collaboration with music radio platform NTS. Around the world, NTS is partnering with local musicians and DJs to create unique mixes available on nts.live and broadcast in participating stores. Thus, a dozen artists offer an ode to electronic music: Lorenzo Senni in Rome, Yuka Mizuhara in Tokyo, Blck Mamba in Antwerp or John Talabot in MadrId. In Paris, A | X Armani Exchange celebrated the event with a big party at the Petit Palace with a great line-up of artists: Bamao Yendé, Banga, Bé and NVST made the cool Parisian crowd dance the whole night through.
Art meets fashion with Perrotin and Zadig & Voltaire
The fall season is off to a great start at Perrotin! On September 3, the gallery presented three new exhibitions dedicated to Gahee Park, Lars von Trier and John Henderson in their space on rue de Turenne. The following day, Emmanuel Perrotin invited friends and art world professionals to 8 Avenue Matignon, where he inaugurated a new five-story space dedicated to the secondary market in partnership with Tom-David Bastok and Dylan Lessel. The gallery presented an inaugural exhibition featuring a wide variety of artists: Maurizio Cattelan, Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein, Georges Mathieu or Ugo Rondinone, and many others. In the next room, Emmanuel Perrotin gave Takashi Murakami carte blanche to take over the artistic direction of a group exhibition of Japanese artists working with ceramics. Far from ending with the opening, the evening continued in the grand salons of the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild for a big party. For the occasion, Perrotin had teamed up with Zadig & Voltaire (and came out with a celebratory T-Shirt!) to create the party you wouldn’t want to miss. Welcomed by the sound of Max Sokolinski’s guitar, the guests then gathered in the basement of the mansion to dance to the rhythm of DJ sets by Bon Entendeur, Amstra and Samuel Boutruche. Art is something to celebrate!
A celebration of Chaumet’s Torsade collection
A few days before the official launch of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, Chaumet gathered their friends and clients for a Parisian dinner to celebrate their new collection, Torsade. The venue? The newly reopened Hôtel de la Marine.
