Once you’re invited to a Lancôme party, it is very unlikely you won’t attend. Everyone still remembers the House’s crazy parties during Haute Couture Week (Kylie Minogue’s “Wow wow wow wow!” in our ears, the bookstore/nightclub for the collab with Sonia Rykiel, or the “Nouvelle Vague” party stirring up the Palais Brongniart…), it was hard to hide one’s excitement when arriving at Hôtel du Grand Veneur last night – which, by the way, is owned by Mr. Emmanuel Perrotin. Lancôme celebrated the launch of its “Chroma Collection” in collaboration with the duo Proenza Schouler. The kind or party you’re so impatient to get to you could almost arrive on time. And it did start pretty well, with a cocktail in the townhouse’s courtyard. Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough catch up with Alexandre de Betak and Emmanuel Perrotin or pose with their models who are dressed to the nines. Just like Anna Cleveland who was the first to get into the groove and dance to Emmanuel Caurel’s DJ set. There was also long-legged Chiara Ferragni sitting one one of the large sofas (a representation of Lacôme’s petals). Susie Bubble and Tina Leung’s outfits show that the two Insta-stars definitely got the memo: tonight is all about colors. In fact, the room’s spotlights are almost as intoxicating as the cocktails served at the bar. It did start pretty well, and it got even better! Just when you finally decide to go down to the basement, the great Honey Dijon uses her magic to make all inhibitions go away. As you go back to ground level, the best is yet to come. Surprise! Here’s none other than Liv Tyler on Derek Blasberg’s arm. And then as sunrise is closer to sunset, it’s finally time to go back to normal life… #PSXLANCÔME
