After unveiling its new creations last March at the prestigious Baselworld, Rolex invited journalists and friends to discover its timepieces by way of a nautical escapade. The gardens of the restaurant Apicius—a haven of freshness in the scorching heat—were made to resemble a cruise ship. The collection was unveiled on an islet in the middle of a sea, with the Yacht-Master 42 entering Rolex’s nautical watch range. Among the Professional watches, there are now new versions of the GMT-Master II, the Sea-Dweller and the legendary Rolex chronograph: the Cosmograph Daytona. The brand’s expertise is also expressed with new generations of the Day-Date 36 and Datejust (here in 31 and 36 mm), with new dials. In this festive setting, guests like Raphaël Personnaz, Christophe Dugarry, Thomas Sotto, Alexander Keyes, Alexandra Ricci and Yasmine Eslami enjoyed a DJ set by Jean-Benoît Dunckel, half of the group Air.
