Gaby Sahhar (b.1992, London) is a French-Palestinian artist based in London. Since they obtained a BA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, London in 2015, Sahhar has participated in several residencies across the world and initiated an LGBTQI+ Artist support network and curatorial platform, Queerdirect. Their artistic practice is a highly multidisciplinary one, using a wide range of mediums that go from oil painting, ink drawing and video to installation works. Their work has been exhibited both as part of group exhibitions in New York (Fragment Gallery, 2022), London (Sadie Coles HQ, 2022), and Russia (Museum of Moscow, 2020) as well as in solo shows in New York (Page (NYC), 2022), Berlin (Sweetwater, 2019) and recently in Paris, being featured as one of the laureates of The Kooples Art Prize first edition award.
