Born in 2006 in Alès, France, Malik Frikah first achieved remarkable success as a dancer rather than an actor. At the age of 10, he became the breakdancing World Champion in the Under-12 category at the prestigious Toulouse Battle Pro competition, having won all the regional and national phases. His skills paved the way for his transition into the world of acting, and in 2021, he landed a small role in the television series Camping Paradis. Since then, he has gone on to appear in several films, including the romantic comedy Stuck with You (2022), the action thriller Apaches: Gang of Paris (2023), and the adventure comedy Jeff Panacloc: In Pursuit of Jean-Marc (2023). In 2024, Frikah’s star power truly shone through when he was cast in the lead role of Clotaire, the teenage version of the character played by François Civil, in Gilles Lellouche’s critically acclaimed romantic drama Beating Hearts. This performance earned him widespread acclaim and recognition, including a nomination for the Lumières Award for Most Promising Actor and a César Nomination.
