Zendaya has emerged as one of the most influential figures of her generation. Born in 1996 in California, the model and actress quickly gained recognition for her role on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up (2010-2013). She later rose to the rank of global superstar thanks to her performances in blockbuster films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), The Greatest Showman (2017), Dune (2021), Dune: Part Two (2024) and most recently, in April 2024 with Challengers. Taking on the lead role in the critically acclaimed HBO series Euphoria, she became the youngest-ever winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2020 and 2022. Beyond her incredible acting achievements, Zendaya’s modelling career is not without merit, as she collaborated with Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Lancôme, embodying their new fragrance “Idôle” in 2019. She has also forged a successful career as a singer, dancer, and producer, releasing her self-titled album in 2013. But the actress’ impact extends beyond the entertainment industry, as she has become a vocal advocate for diversity, representation, and social justice, using her platform to speak out against racial bias and the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated by the media. With a growing list of awards, including a Golden Globe Award and numerous other honours, Zendaya continues to push the boundaries of her craft and redefine what it means to be a multifaceted, influential public figure in the 21st century. Her versatility, talent, and commitment to social change have solidified her status as a rising icon in the world of entertainment and beyond. Most recently, Zendaya was seen at the Prelude to the 2024 Olympic Games, an memorable evening party at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
