Last night, the Fédération française du prêt-à-porter féminin celebrated an important milestone: the launch of its magazine, produced with the support of the DEFI. Simply called Fédération (a title that immediately evokes sharing and community), the object is born as fashion week begins in Paris. Organised at L’Eclaireur, the launch cocktail brought together the players in the ready-to-wear industry around Pierre-François Le Louët, president of the French women’s ready-to-wear federation. The artistic direction of the magazine was entrusted to Nicolas Poillot of Etudes Studio. For this first issue, Fédération sets the bar high with cross interviews of major players in the textile industry as well as a series of portraits of some twenty fashion houses (let’s quote Y/Project, Jour/Né, Pallas, Maison Standards). A beautiful limited edition item, Fédération is now being distributed in the best fashion outlets such as colette and L’Exception as well as in major salons such as Première Classe.
