Inauguration of the new PIASA space

Since its creation in 1996 in the Drouot district, PIASA has come a long way. Literally, since after having opened a space Rive Gauche in 2013, in the heart of St-Germain-des-prés, the auction house settles in the VIIIe, at 118 rue du Faubourg St Honoré. Close to the international clientele, therefore, Bristol but also its elders, Sotheby’s, Artcurial, Christie’s… Last milestone in its history: the launch of the OnlineOnly service last January, online sales module exclusively dedicated to thematic sales.

For its first sale in the Golden Triangle, PIASA presents’Scandinavian Design vs American Design’, including the collection of personal furniture by Danish designer Peder Moos, under the hammer of the auctioneer on 17 September.

Big bosses, gallery owners, members and collectors hung this housewarming party like no other last Monday evening.
