inauguration of the Orient Express Table

Imminent departure for La Table Orient Express, which resuscitates the time of a gastronomic journey the mythical train of Hercule Poirot. Paris, then Bordeaux. A change of scenery is guaranteed.

Open from May to July for a total of 52 dinners, this restaurant-traveller will stop in Paris then Bordeaux. For the second time, Chef Yannick Alléno is investing his mobile kitchens and will serve his exclusive menu in accordance with the rules of the arts of the table, with the help of pie maker Yann Couvreur. In tandem, the two masters of haute gastronomy will offer passengers the chance to relive the legendary Orient Express, immersed in the atmosphere of the 1920s.

On the menu side, for the first of the three menus: green vegetables and Mayenne poularde, caviar with langoustines, fritters with bao. The flavours and textures of an entire continent can be found in this necessarily multicultural menu. For his first Yannick Alléno reserves a beautiful place for his modern sauces, made from extractions of celery for the vegetable bouquetière or sole for ravioles. As for dessert, it will be meringue or not, honoring the Gariguette strawberry refreshed with mint. Reservation required, it goes without saying.
