Opening of the “Design power” exhibition
This is not an exhibition. It’s much better than that. It’s a great story, and a design project that tells five years of creation, enthusiasm and dialogue: the daily life of a team dedicated to optimism and value creation.
Since its creation in 2009, the place of design has accompanied nearly 900 projects led by companies or designers in many industrial sectors. The DESIGN POWER exhibition, conceived with the complicity of Sismo, presents a hundred projects, products and services that demonstrate the capacity of design to innovate and enable companies to gain in competitiveness and differentiate themselves. All stages of design are covered, from the idea to marketing. This retrospective exhibition highlights for the first time the original methodology proposed by the Place to support companies involved in the integration of a design approach.
For example, you’ll find a swell energy recovery platform, a communicating photovoltaic screen, a connected comfort blanket, a foldable bicycle helmet or the Wandercraft exoskeleton. In short, 100% functional design that doesn’t forget that it looks as much as it lives.
