Romano Ricci’s “Café Juliette”, more than a perfume shop

Juliette has a Gun is not just another perfume house. It must be said that its founder, Romano Ricci, is not either. While his family name resonates with all fashion and perfume connoisseurs, it is because he is none other than the great-grandson of the legendary Nina Ricci. But let’s be clear, he has clearly freed himself from that legacy. So, to celebrate the opening of its very first Parisian boutique located 2, rue des Francs Bourgeois (just a stone’s throw from Place des Vosges), the perfumer could not have deviated any further from the codes of perfumery. Café Juliette, “a place of passage” where you are offered “a glass of champagne, a Coutume coffee or a Mariages Frères tea” offers to complete sensory experience related to perfume. There are also many intriguing details! A waitress has replaced the traditional perfume demonstrator and one can even call 911 from a red phone outside the “speakeasy” restroom to ask questions… to the designer himself. Must see.
