Villa Schweppes’Folies Tonic’ Party
While the official Cannes selection has just been unveiled by Thierry Frémaux and Pierre Lescure at the traditional pre-Festival press conference, the Villa Schweppes has also given a taste of its fortnight in the Côte d’Azur by unveiling an enticing line-up debut.
Mark Ronson, Tahiti Boy, Moodoïd, Jennifer Cardini, Thylacine… once is not usual, the programming promises to be lively and eclectic on the Croisette. After a 2014 edition at sea, the festive association returns to the coast to better serve Cannes nights – the first stage of its”French tour” which will continue in Calvi and then, for the first time, in Biarritz during the BIG Festival.
A ton of good news, therefore, that Villa Schweppes hastened to celebrate last Thursday night at Maxim’s by investing literally every floor of the restaurant-club on Royal Street. On the menu: full TDA, hip-hop, an orgy of performances, a disco exotica and much, much regression. A clean start that promises the most brilliant seaside epic of the summer.
