Lagonda x Richard Williams : The Gates of Heaven

From Aston Martin we know little about Lagonda. Industrialist David Brown bought the pre-war sports car manufacturer at the same time as Aston Martin at the end of the war. As production progressed, Lagonda was maling the brand’s less sporty and more livable line of cars. This rare four-door model, produced in the limited quantity of seven, will be auctioned by Bonhams next week. Bought in the middle of 2000s by the specialist Richard Williams, it was restored to offer a more modern comfort, as the English have become specialists in this field. If aesthetically, some modest changes are noticeable, technically everything is much more visible: increased power, optimized road behavior, air conditioning and electric seats, soundproof, now it’s the perfect car for traveling long distances, with style.
