Thomas Roussel


Thomas Roussel is a French composer, violinist, conductor and arranger born in Dijon. He composed soundtracks for films such as Eyjafjallajökull (2013) and Jumbo (2020), and worked closely with Reinhardt Wagner on arrangements and orchestration for many other movies. Brands such as Nike, Chanel, Dior, Michael Kors, L’Oréal, Isse Miyake, Cartier and Givenchy called on him to provide music for their advertisements and fashion shows all over the world. He is also involved in various other projects such as SomethingALaMode and Prequell. Born into a family of musicians, Roussel was introduced to music at an early age, and as a teenager composed his first creations. His collaborations with electronic artists such as Laurent Garnier and the Daft Punk’s manager have also had a significant impact on his musical style, leading him to develop a unique approach blending classical orchestration and electronic sounds.
